Nik Sapawi Nik Salleh, Representative

Mr. Nik Salleh has been appointed as Director of GasTechno Malaysia in 2016 to bring GasTechno Process, a direct, single step methane-to-methanol technology to Malaysian & South East Asian markets.

Haivng worked with major consultant, Technip and national oil company, PETRONAS Carigali, he had more than 30 years experience in process engineering design and operation support for oil, gas and petrochemical including upstream and downstream facilities. Work scope including feasibility studies, basic design, detailed design both for green & brown fields, leading HAZID/ HAZOP and troubleshooting operation problems.

While working with PETRONAS Carigali, he was the Technical Authority who evaluated new technologies to be implemented in PETRONAS facilities. He is a Chartered member of Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and a registered Professional Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and Institute of Engineers Malaysia(IEM). He graduated with Bachelor Degree of Chemical Engineering from The University of Toledo, Ohio in 1988.
